And I agree with you on the difference between Quicken and QuickBooks — I use both (Quicken 2009 for personal finances, and QB Pro 2008 for business and a trust for which I’m the trustee) and I’d hate to use anything less than QuickBooks for business finance.

I wrote this office procedure for “how to handle the receipt of money from a client” in which I use QuickBooks.

There are so many features that we take for granted, expecially the email invoice feature – it not only saves postage money but our customers get their invoice immediately. We are a small company and depend on Intuit’s QuickBook Pro to help us manage our finances and at the same time making those procedures extremely easy.
