Vern Yip’s “Deserving Design” Hits the Airwaves!

Yes, I am a Vern Yip fan. I loved his eye-catching designs back during Trading Spaces. So now that his new show, “Deserving Design” is on the air, I couldn’t be happier! Two episodes into it, I just love it! The show bestows gorgeous designs and new rooms on much deserving people. So far, this includes a volunteer firefighter and his wife, and a family who lost their home in Hurricane Katrina. There is something so great about people giving back to those who really deserve it. It started with Extreme Makeover Home Edition and now Deserving Design. Rock on with paying it forward! It only makes the world a better place.

I am hoping I will be lucky one day and Vern will do my kitchen.

I watched the show tonight. I pray that Ver will do my Mother’s bedroom. I came here almost five years ago from Gorgia to spend 10 days with my parents after the death of my younger sister. I found that my parents needed me so I stayed. My father passed Dec. 26,2008. My desire has always been to make their home comfortable for them. They were married for 63 years. I never got the opportunity.
