The “Show Us Your Desk Challenge”!

Ok, so here it is. My lovely friend and fellow blogger, Ariane Benefit has challenged her “blog circle” to show our desks. Check out her post and other Organizers’ desks too! Sooooo, here is my entry along with a guided tour by yours truly.

This is my desk top (actually a kitchen table…. use furniture in a different way!). From the left, the office supplies I use most: pens, tape, stapler and my handy notebooks: one for phone call notes, and one for other misc. notes at the computer, etc. Then is the phone, computer, lamp and my inspirational quotes in frames:

1) “Those who bring sunshine to the lives of others cannot keep it from themselves.” (card from Papyrus)

2) “The Four Agreements: Be impeccable with your word, Don’t take anything personally, Don’t make assumptions, Always do your best”

The right side of my desk is open because I use this space for things I am reading, reference material, and a sort of “staging” area for incoming mail as it is sorted and recycled (bin under the desk).

This is my credenza, library, reference section, office supply storage, electronics and action paper center. Books are along the top, supplies (in matching “nutmeg color boxes) and electronics below (4 drawer vertical file is on the left out of the picture). From the left, on the desk top are my CDs, my Tibetan singing bowl (a gift from a close friend), current reading materials, action paper sorted letter trays (notice the mail and paper I accumulated on my Easter vacation are on the top waiting to be sorted), a candle and “quote calendar”, and my charging station.

So there it is! I would challenge you to post YOUR desk! 🙂 Or maybe you have a question? Email me!
