I use a similar product from Fujitsu called the Snap Scan S300. It’s a little bigger, but still portable. I put it through the same test you did. The business card scan test and it worked great! Now I scan EVERYTHING. It just makes sense since storage and backup options are so cheap now.
My only advice is to make sure that no matter what potable scanner you pick up make sure that you have a good filing system in place on your system so that you can easily access all of the information. No matter how handy it is to scan documents, it doesn’t do you any good if you can’t find them with a couple of clicks of the mouse!

Brandi, I love my Neat Receipts! I bought it in Reno this year and I have been using it like crazy. It is super easy and so is finding them on my computer.
