I took a trip to my local Staples store, and came across a great product! Even with all the electronic PDAs, calendars and cell phones, some people still prefer a paper planner. Maybe it’s the touch and feel of paper, or that it doesn’t break down or get a virus. Whatever your reason, if you are a paper person, but also like to work with your desktop scheduling software, this product could be for you!

It’s called Outlink, made by the familiar calendar gurus, At-A-Glance . There are several great features about this product:

  1. It looks great! With a leather exterior and white and blue pages, this is a great product for the home or office.
  2. It has a built-in visual “sticky” note: Ok, so they call it a “Page Jog”. Basically, you can lift and place your page back into the three hole punch. Your page will be like a tab to remind you of your task! LOVE THAT!
  3. There is a handy alarm attached that will remind you of appointments in advance (such as in the Palm or Outlook software).

If you are looking for a paper planner that will co-exist peacefully with your Outlook calendar, this just might be the one for you!
