Did you know that this month is NAPO’s “Get Organized Month”? I covered how you can get organized this year in this post, so I would encourage you to get on the NAPO website to see what events are near you. Some examples of what others are doing around the country:

  • “Kitchen Cleanout”: bringing used household items and furniture to a furniture warehouse that helps families start a new life
  • Workshop: “Ask The Organizer”
  • Recycling computers at an office supply store
  • Organizing an office of a non-profit service organization

Maybe one of these sounds interesting to you, but it might not be near you. What about putting on your own event and making a difference in your community? Let’s call it Community Action Organization. Get inspired, get motivated, get organized, go out and make a difference.
