I particularly love labelling . How many people don’t label the cords when they set up a home theatre for instance? Or a new computer system with its peripherals? You go to move the equipment to a different room or house and problems arise trying to plug everything back in again. Label label label. Thanks for the tip on yummy scrapbooking labels!

I always had to sample taste my powdered sugar to make SURE it wasn’t my cornstarch!!!

I love, love, love when an organizing pro gives me permission to label everything . Seriously, it’s made my life so much easier (I’ve got labels on all the power adapters in my power cord box, for instance, ever since I used the wrong adapter on the scanner, there was a puff of smoke, a pop, and poof, dead scanner), but sometimes I feel like it’s a little too “kindergarten classroom” for a professional home office space. So, thank you for the permission, Brandie!

I’m putting together a new office at the moment (a 20×20 room–it’s fantastic, but so much more space than I’m used to), so I’m really focusing on organizing everything–I figure otherwise, with all that space, I’ll lose track of things. I’ll be following this series with rapt attention.
