“When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” - Dr. Wayne Dyer

When you look around at an organizing project - a counter-top, office, desk full of filing or other space, do you feel overwhelmed? Do you have thoughts like think: “I just don’t know where to start?”, “This will take too long” or “I am so behind!” It’s easy to do, but don’t let it paralyze you.
How about thinking of it in another way? If you have enough things in your home (or office) that you have too much, doesn’t that mean that you have an overabundance? You have a space waiting to be rediscovered. Think of the lives that you could affect by digging into the things that you no longer need, and giving them to someone in need or your favorite charity. Think about how they will use your item that is currently collecting dustin your space. Can you see their face when they receive it? How fabulous would it feel to “pay it forward”?

I encourage you to change the way you look at your closet, paper piles or garage and think of how great you will feel when it’s done! You may find that changing the way you look at your project really will change it - even if only a change in your attitude toward getting it done!
